Opis
The current volume of “Archaeologia Polona” is not a typical one. Professor Marek Dulinicz, together with his wife Grażyna, passed away on 6th of June 2010 due a tragic accident. Professor Marek Dulinicz was an outstanding specialist, the vice-director of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology, Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS). Therefore, we decided to abandon our tradition according to which each volume was devoted to a specific theme or research problem, and instead fill the volume with texts devoted to only one period – the Early Middle Ages, which fascinated late prof. Marek Dulinicz. We dedicate this volume to Him.
